10.02 Morpheus
Ahaha!
Rabid aspects of fandom are stalking me in my internet life!
*offers up proof*

There I was, about to prove my humanity through the tried and true test of reading warped text, when I received this disturbing message!!!
Sam haters have infiltrated the internets! Quick! To Arms!
Also, I'm catching up on ficathon reading - so if you suddenly get feedback, it's probably me slinking in late to the party :D
Stargate SG-1 10.02 Morpheus
Firstly, *squee* Much team love in this episode :D In fact there was a lot to enjoy in terms of the team interaction and Vala love throughout.
I didn't particularly like the glossed over ending, but when your show only has 45 minutes and you've got an A and a B storyline going - there's not an awful lot of time left to wrap everything up with a nice bow, so you get this kind of truncated "and we managed to extrapolate a cure from your research and that's how you survived..." Which was a bit of a let down (although the Sam/Daniel in that scene was scorching! Hallucinations eh?)
Daniel glee at his bookish ramblings, and then double glee with the Sam/Cam "and you say I'm hard to understand" (so doing it!) asides. Vala! It's quite a change from season 9 - pigtails! and a very mischievous side to her character. Twas very fun seeing her try to cram and then outwit the psych evaluation.
Snark! Teal'c being Captain Obvious when he notes that the village appears to be deserted and Cam's Salad Bar joke (had to explain that to the paternal)
As soon as Random-SG-Soldier started bitching about pulling a double shift the paternal noted "Well, he's dead." and I duly chimed in with "Yup, soooo dead." Total Red Shirt flag there :P
I did love the spooky decayed atmosphere of the village. Though I've never in my life seen trees look like that with all the moss draped across the branches in an urban setting, but they were loverly nonetheless.
And when they went up to the Caves, I was completely convinced that I'd get some Sam/Cam shippyness and HE SENT HER BACK! But that worked out well cos then there was Sam/Daniel (and we all know they completely fooled around to try and stay awake)
Cam and the Lizard (OTP!)
And a clue that sends them off to Atlantis - looks like Daniel will finally get to go :D

Oh, no kidding. Personally I think the "Morpheus" ending handwave is the worst one they do in 10 seasons. Though the hallucinations mention DOES help a lot.
OT5 for the win! Though, I do wonder - that's gotta get complicated. What do they do with all the limbs? Gotta push two king size beds together or just hope someone has a soft carpet (or a giant trampoline!)...(and you know sometimes Jack visits to make it an OT6)
*fails profoundly*
You know, it kinda reminds me of that old joke about the octopus and the bagpipe... :P
I don't know if you could write OT5/6 all at once without them turning into one giant orgiastic pile of smutty smutty pR0n. Ha! AMTDI may be needed - although the team dymamic this season completely implies that they're all over each other like the proverbial rash anyway :D
But I will TOTALLY read it and give e-cookies to anyone who attempts it.
also TRAMPOLINE PORN!!! *snerks and uses appropriate icon*

Wouldn't that, you know, be the point? :)
There really is not nearly enough trampoline porn in the world. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever seen any. And it should exist. It really, really should.
(you know, I've never written pr0n. I don't know that I know how to write pr0n. And yet I'm so tempted to try OT5/6 AMTDI trampoline pr0n now....)
Jane Mansfield's Car (http://lyssie.livejournal.com/434699.html). But it's really Sam/Jack inside of an OT5. And it's porn with a capital P. Yow!
It does kind of show how difficult an OT5 would be to write though. Not only the physical actions and the ordering of the people, but how do you convey the emotional punch needed between them all? So, she mostly sticks with the Sam/Jack thing there, as a way for them to have each other without it being too heavy. (Ridiculous, yes, but that's the point. Ha!)
and they all done sex. it was fun. the end.
