And I'd totally go and do it, only she'd think I was completely batshit insane (*cough* possibly, this might be somewhat true, although my brand of batshit is fairly benign and limited to the more amoosing cracktastic picspam sprees...) and wouldn't you be slightly taken aback by such a declaration of love? :P

alizarin_nyc, every time I see your username it makes me smile and brings me glee! Because when I was in high school, me and my BFF were writing a romance novel together and we named our heroine Alizarin, mostly because I just adored the name - despite having first encountered it in chemistry (huzzah for litmus tests!). And later because it really is one of the most beautiful shades of red and we wanted to make her the god daughter of a patron of the arts who chose her name for similar obscure reasons.

Sekritly, I'm thinking you really are from Regency England and have the very dashing Lord Lucien falling in love with you as you play out your madcap schemes all over London's haute ton.
