I'm going to be late for my femme_fic - it's in beta land but I KNOW it will need some revision as this is a new fandom writing wise and it needs some polishing.

AHAHA I wrote Twilight fic! And not entirely cracked out fic either.

I'm still wavering on what I'm going to use this journal for. My LJ is me writing silly cracked out musings and observations - which I do love doing. I am attracted to the absurd side of life and I'm not about to stop with the glee.

I need glee!

Mebbe my D-W will have some more serious thinky!type posts (though I don't think I could ever be entirely dry and academic) I know I don't want to crosspost, 'cos that just doubles the content without adding any value.

Speaking of which, I see on metafandom several posts about people talking about how they will unsubscribe people who do this. Ehhhh - I'm more likely to set up a series of reading filters - not because I'm all passive aggressive about the whole "friending" issue (there is STILL going to be wank over this, even with the attempt to separate it out into subscribe/access) but because I do that anyway on LJ.

I do read all the posts in my flist/circle - but I break people down into groups and read them at different times during the week. My fandom comms filter for instance is a bit neglected as I haven't had so much time recently to read any of the fic that's been produced.

I'll get to it eventually though.

One more Teal'c fic today as a reward for writing another 1000 words!

It keeps my reading levels sane.

Alas, for the chronically-verbose-or-just-really-addicted-to-run-on-hyphenated-sentences-such-as-my-sparkling-but-not-in-the-vampire-sense-though-really-it-would-be-kind-of-excellent-to-have-the-skin-of-a-killer-to-~angst~-over-and-oooh-think-of-the-excellent-tacky-shiny-stuff-I-could-then-accessorise-with-but-I-digress-self.

I has a new phone *is terrified of it* I swear it is capable of beaming thoughts directly into people's brains and will possibly cause the uprise of the machines at some later date due to it being sentient and all (it anticipates my needs based on my usage *is freaked out a tad by this*)

However, I am a total luddite when it comes to phones. I have an irrational hatred and dislike for them that stems from being accosted by the bakelite monstrosity (that had a ring dial! Thats how old I am, or that might possibly be more of a reflection of my parentals resistance to change "Touch Pad! What is this magic??) that fell off the wall onto my pinkie toe as a seven year old (and clearly rather impressionable) child.

I have horrified the fraternal by using its whizz-bang features to *glee* play incessant games of Bubble (YEAH! High score of 732!)

And now, rather than quoting some bad!porn at you. I shall offer up a scene that always makes me grin from one of my all time faves.

Le sigh - our internets is capped for the next six days, so I is surfing with no images. Which is rather interesting in that pictures get replaced with their descriptive alt tags. *grins at what you name some of your icons*

I have also set up my Dreamwidth account. I'm Rigel over there and I managed to port everything over - even my layout *bwee* But fear not, I shall be cross posting your daily dose of porn quality peen scenes.

Speaking of peen, (yeah! smooth segue there) My reading of Elizabeth Hoyt has me musing over the peen POV in her lurve scenes. So much of the sexing is about the peen, what the peen is feeling and doing and waaaay too much peen description.

Just as a completely non-biased and totes scientific test, I selected 25 other books from my shelf-of-doom from different authors to compare the POV in the sex scenes. The vast majority (14) are from the female POV (in that the sex descriptions are about what she is feeling and doing) A further 6 have mixed POV (no bias one way or the other), 2 have no sex (aka fade to black) and 3 are peen-centric.

Which has me thinking about fic. If I think about the last 25 or so explicit het fics that I read, there were way more peen-centric fics than there were va-j-j-tastic (okay that descriptor clearly fails :P Hoo-ha-lic?...) Does fandom seem to worship more at the altar-of-peen to you as well? I find it interesting that two female dominated writing spheres have such opposing sex POV writing.

Lawd! I hates clothes shopping with a passion!

Hehe - all I wanted was 2 pairs of plain pants (one black and one brown) and 2 work shirts and it took nearly 3 hours! ack! All of the pants were weird and had things attached to them in odd places and buttons that were hideous and were made from icky fabric. Bleh! And don't get me started on the fugleh that is this season's fashion...

But in ze end I found some nice things and all was well. And I shelled out a rather jaw-dropping sum of munneh for a minimizer bra (As I don't want to be too boob-a-licious at my new place of employment)

gateverse_remix is live! And I'm working my way through the list. Some of the Atlantis ones are a bit confuzzling to me though, cos I'm assuming that they reference events in season 4 (for which I'm relatively unspoiled) But I'm determined to read them all this year ('twas one of my resolutions for this year after all, to read all the fics for every ficathon I participate in)

I posted mine just in time last night, but I wasn't quite happy with it (it's a multimedia fic, that's done up to look like a magazine article) I had a 3am epiphany, where I suddenly realised that I'd forgotten to justify the text properly (the horror!) So I redid them all this morning and also re-coded the web layouts :D *is a bit of a sad geek*



apocalypse_kree is taking prompts again! Yay! Despite my soul-bit still languishing with surreallis (it's in good company *koff*) I'm looking forward to the awesomeness of apocafic.

Also, NCIS is on tonight and I am gleeful - despite the repeats, there's a few episodes that I haven't managed to catch before. My love for Abby and Gibbs continues unabated :D

I have finally nailed down my gateverse_remix fic, and am at the stage of beating it into submission with my plot-stick-of-doom.

I can only say, that at times, the 3am strike of inspiration can actually work. My muse decided to get off its lazy butt and tell me exactly how to approach it.

Also, I am in need of some Daniel Picspam for nefarious purposes (possibly involving handcuffs and light spanking.)

Point me in the direction of what is in your opinion, his finest smoking hot appearance onscreen.
